The Good Morning Adoption Fund Inc. was founded in 2005 to continue the work of Dr. Peter Charland who dedicated his life to assisting children and families as a counselor, father, and adoptive parent.

Dr. Charland was known for his positive and engaging personality, which was characterized by the fact that he greeted everyone with a hearty, “Good Morning,” no matter the time of day. Dr. Charland passed away in 2004 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Our Mission:
The Good Morning Adoption Fund continues the work of Dr. Peter Charland who dedicated his life to assisting children and families as a father, counselor, and adoptive parent. Using Dr. Charland’s values as our compass, we are committed to:

• Providing financial assistance to help waiting children to be matched with adoptive families.
• Raising awareness of the societal need and merits of adoption.

The Good Morning Adoption Fund, Inc. is a non-profit organization 501c3 in the truest sense of the word. It is solely volunteer-based. There are not any salaried employees or board members. Overhead is kept to a minimum.
