Dear Good Morning Adoption Fund Committee Members: We would like to thank you for choosing our family to receive the $5,000 Good Morning Adoption Fund grant. As you know, adoption is a very expensive process. For years we contemplated adopting a child, but we were always hesitant about starting the process due to the expense. Last November, we finally made the decision to pursue our dream no matter what the cost. We prepared to make the sacrifices that were necessary to expand our family. Since then, we have been budgeting, simplifying, and counting every penny, yet we fight a battle of surmounting expenses through this process. The battle will not end with the finalization. After being about $20,000 in debt, there will be another mouth to feed, another body to clothe. Please know that your generosity has made it much easier to sleep at night. Your generosity has allowed us to feel more confident in our ability to be able to maintain a secure environment for both of our children. When we received the call from Susan telling us that we were selected to receive the grant, we were elated. For us, it was a sign that we were doing the right thing. Thank you again for all of your hard work and generosity. We are truly grateful. One day we hope to be in a position to help another family like you have helped us. Sincerely,

For families out there looking to
adopt but are scared because of the financial burden, you still can. With
help from wonderful organizations such as the Good Morning Adoption Fund,
we were able to adopt our second child. The application is very easy and
they get back to you very quickly with their decision. We would definitely
apply for a grant again if we decide to adopt again. Thank you Good Morning
Adoption Fund for making our dream become a reality. |
